先日始めた今日の表現コーナー、今日もいってみましょう！

今日の表現：latch on to「～をつかむ、手に入れる；理解する」

今日は新しい企業システムの形態として注目されているSaaS（＝Software as a Service）に関する記事の中からご紹介です。

So you are starting to see things like CRM, supply-chain, purchasing and logistics really latch on to the software-as-a-service model, because the economies of scale and connectivity and community aspects of them are so much more attractive than their traditional installed software model.

英辞郎を見ると “latch onto the fact” 「真実を手に入れる（理解する）」という表現も載っていました。

また、例文の後半に “the economies of scale” という表現がありますが、これはそのまま「規模の経済」という意味ですね。
